Canada’s The Harpoonist announces incoming first solo album – and releases first single from it after 17 years as part of the successful Canadian duo, The Harpoonist and the Axe Murderer [with guitarist Matt Rogers.]
Originally from Toronto, Shawn Hall has performed for almost two decades, with The Harpoonist and the Axe Murderer duo releasing six albums and playing countless sell out tours.
Vocalist and harmonica virtuoso Shawn Hall delivers his debut solo album, “Did We Come Here To Dance” this summer – date TBC — made with Canadian blues-rock artist, Big Sugar’s Gordie Johnson. Expect: “New gritty, tough-assed swamp music with edge and off-the-wall lyrics.”
The first single from the album is “Good People”, out now via Tonic Records – an energetic fusion of rock, funk, and soul.
