Today [20th March 2026] Dutch indie-folk and chamber pop artist Celine Cairo with more than 45 million streams, releases “Woman”, a string-led ballad reflecting on modern womanhood.
It comes with an official music video shot on a wintry Amsterdam beach, directed by Leandra Arjona-Jacobi, featuring Celine alongside her 90-year-old grandmother.
Celine creates a sound which draws comparisons to the likes of London Grammar, Sade and Eva Cassidy, and has attracted a growing international following. Her music has featured in major U.S. TV series including “Love, Victor” and “Queen Sugar”, and earlier this year she performed to a broadcast audience of more than two million, backed by the renowned Metropole Orchestra.
“Woman”, the third single from her forthcoming third album “Panacea”, which is due for June release. “Woman” was written with long time collaborators Lawrence Diamond and Bob Matthews, produced in Amsterdam by Benjamin Rheinländer alongside Cairo and her band, and features a string arrangement by Dutch violinist and arranger Annelieke Marselje.

Headline show: Melkweg, Amsterdam: 18th June 2026. Autumn tour across Netherlands & Europe to follow.
