Johnny Depp & The Original Alice Cooper Group Surprise London fans…

The original Alice Cooper Group reunited live on stage at London’s sold-out O2 Arena — performing together in front of 12,000 stunned fans on the same day their first new album in more than 50 years – The Revenge Of Alice Cooper -was released.

The emotional crescendo of Friday night [25th July 2025] began as Johnny Depp joined Alice and his touring band on stage for what appeared to be the show’s explosive finale – Black Sabbath’s classic “Paranoid”, in tribute to Ozzy Osbourne. But what happened next became the stuff of rock legend…

Original band members Dennis Dunaway, Neal Smith, and Michael Bruce emerged to join them. The group launched into a fierce and heartfelt performance of “School’s Out” — supported by the touring band and Johnny Depp — bringing the show to a euphoric close, before a further set from Judas Priest.

This epic night followed an equally memorable event the evening before at London’s Union Chapel, where Alice, Dennis, Neal, and Michael joined long-time producer and honorary sixth member Bob Ezrin for an exclusive, sold-out Q&A and global livestream, hosted by Sir Tim Rice — which also featured the world premiere of the album in full.

“The Revenge Of Alice Cooper” captures the band’s signature venomous riffs, macabre storytelling, and undeniable swagger — and proves that the band’s spirit is not only alive, but roaring back to life with power and purpose.

Out now via earMUSIC on all digital platforms, and in a wide range of formats including limited coloured vinyl, deluxe box set, and exclusive smart format editions.

Recorded in an old-school Connecticut studio with Bob Ezrin at the helm, the album brings the spirit of classic Alice Cooper into the present with theatrical storytelling and vintage horror flair. The album even features a posthumous guitar appearance from Glen Buxton on “What Happened To You”, preserving his legacy within the band’s rebirth.

From the primal swagger of “Black Mamba” to the rebel howl of “Wild Ones”, and now the late-night roar of “Up All Night”, the record is a loud, wild reminder that true rock never dies. The album released on July 25th, includes the exclusive smart format art print, featuring access to two bonus tracks and a high-definition download.

The original Alice Cooper group – Alice Cooper (vocals), Michael Bruce (guitar), Dennis Dunaway (bass), Neal Smith (drums), and Glen Buxton (guitar) – redefined rock in the early 1970s, blending raw, hard-hitting music with shocking theatricality. With producer Bob Ezrin they pioneered shock rock, delivering rebellious anthems, dark storytelling, and over-the-top stage shows featuring guillotines, snakes, and macabre theatrics.

Albums like “Love It To Death” (1971), “Killer” (1971), “School’s Out” (1972), and “Billion Dollar Babies” (1973) turned them into superstars, producing legendary hits like, “I’m Eighteen”, “Elected”, “School’s Out” and “No More Mr. Nice Guy”. Their mix of hard rock, glam, and horror made them one of the most influential and controversial bands of their era, leaving a permanent mark on rock history.

Alice Cooper has sold countless millions of records worldwide and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2011.
