Last night [28th April 2025], global icon Beyoncé launched her highly anticipated ‘Cowboy Carter Tour’ with a historic sold-out performance at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The first of five nights at the world-renowned venue captivated fans on opening night.
Over the course of the powerful nearly three hour show show, Beyoncé brought to life songs from her ground breaking album, “Cowboy Carter”, including “16 Carriages”, “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “Bodyguard,” alongside reimagined versions of fan-favurite hits spanning her entire catalogue.
The show unfolds across thematic chapters that weave a narrative of resilience, freedom, and heritage, underscored by her signature visually immersive cinematic interludes and dynamic stage production.
Magic moments include a star spangled banner acapella performance with Jimi Hendrix’s guitar solo, a full feature section of her successful seventh studio album, “Renaissance”, several Blue Ivy special guest appearances throughout the show and Rumi Carter’s first ever on stage appearance during “Protector,” multiple moments flying through the audience on a horseshoe and car, a colour-changing LED dress during “Daughter” and much more.
Towards the end of the night she declared from the stage: “I have the best fans in the world. I love you so much. We worked so hard to make this as perfect as we could for y’all. I hope y’all had fun.” Her return through a creative Americana lens kicked off what promises to be one of the most celebrated tours of the year.
Following her record-shattering ‘Renaissance World Tour’, she once again graced the stage in spectacular fashion, starting with a breath taking custom all-white look in Mugler.
Collaborations spanning some of the world’s leading fashion houses and emerging designers have resulted in designs that blend Beyoncé’s own pioneering style with luxury and rugged authenticity, creating a modern Western aesthetic.
The spirit of “Cowboy Carter” extended beyond the stage, as fans transformed SoFi Stadium into a glittering showcase of Western glam. Rhinestone boots, fringed jackets, and wide-brimmed hats in the audience echoed the bold looks seen on stage, turning the stadium into a full-scale celebration of “Cowboy Carter’s” fearless spirit.
Produced by Parkwood Entertainment and promoted by Live Nation, the tour has already broken multiple venue records around the globe. Initially announced with 22 stadium shows, overwhelming demand drove the addition of 10 more performances, solidifying Beyoncé’s ongoing dominance of the live event space.
Her latest tour milestones include:
- Most overall performances at SoFi Stadium by any artist or band.
- Most shows ever performed by an artist on a single tour at MetLife Stadium.
- Most performances by any artist at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
- Most performances by any artist or band at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, breaking her own previously held five show record set during her “Renaissance” world tour.
Beyoncé continues making her mark off stage through the BeyGOOD Foundation. During the tour, the Foundation continues its work of helping communities with programmes in entrepreneurship, scholarships, disaster response, including helping those affected by the recent wildfires in the Los Angeles, California area. BeyGOOD’s commitment for the current tour exceeds $3 million in direct community investment.
