Introducing: We Are All Fossils…

South African artist We Are All Fossils has returned with compelling single “Rapture”, out now 2 via Mahogany Songs – follow-up to his recent BBC Maida Vale session and last year’s emotionally-charged “Hollow”.

We Are All Fossils is the musical project lead by Durban-born singer-songwriter Deist Oelofse – blending folk, ambient sounds, and deeply personal storytelling. Inspired by landscapes as diverse as the shores of South Africa and the rolling hills of the Lake District, We Are All Fossils explore life’s most personal moments.

The debut album “The Optimist” dropped in 2018, and sophomore LP “Songs For Strangers” in 2019 and there is a new album in the works.

Whether performing solo or with his band, We Are All Fossils’ live presence has earned praise for its emotional depth and raw honesty, and recently the band had the honour of performing at the legendary Maida Vale Studios for the BBC.
