Day # 2 of Shiiine On Weekender at Butlin’s Skegness, which kicks off our annual festival season coverage for 2026 – after a belting first day yesterday when thousands had a real ball until the wee small hours with a superb line-up of live music, comedy and DJs. See our coverage in the “Live Zone”.
Friday’s bands The Enemy, The Beat, The Twang, Cud and many more delivered ace performances.
Day # 2 of 3 also excelled; with sparkling sets from the likes of Embrace, Alabama 3, Stereo MC’s, Lo Fidelity Allstars, Bentley Rhythm Ace, The Magic Numbers, Ex-Specials’ star Neville Staples, Jah Wobble and many more. Young Liverpool band The Sway did very well on Saturday and are ones to watch.
Tomorrow, the final day, there are treats in store from Lightning Seeds, Terrorvision, Badly Drawn Boy, The Blow Monkeys, and much more.
Our man with a plan [and more camera gear than Jessops!] Liam Battersby, was snapping away to his heart’s content for day 1 & 2, and he’ll be back for Sunday’s extravaganza, so do check back in our Live Zone for that coverage, soon…
