UK singer-songwriter Lewis Watson’s new album ‘Midnight’ is out on March 3rd on Cooking Vinyl. Here we have the really lovely brand new single, “Forever” taken from the album. Plus; we announce his UK tour dates for March and April.
The 24-year-old from Oxfordshire saw the release of his first two EPs in 2012, “It’s got four sad songs on it BTW,” and “Another four sad songs”, which helped him land a record deal with Warner. ” The Wild,” was his third EP, released in March 2013. In early 2013 he toured Australia with Birdy.
In July 2013, he released his fourth EP “Four More Songs”,including a cover of “Made up lovesong No. 43”, originally performed by Guillemotts. In November 2013, he released his fifth EP “Some Songs With Some Friends”, which included three covers, featuring a different artist for each track; Gabrielle Aplin, Hudson Taylor, and Kimberley Anne.
Warner released his debut album, “The Morning”, in July 2014, which peaked at # 28 in the album chart. Lewis took a break in 2015, and began writing for his second album. Lewis left Warner and regained full control of his career; recording his second album in just two weeks. He rejected offers from various major labels, to partner with leading independent label Cooking Vinyl for the second album.
