Cornbury Festival 2020 features two big stars for day one – with Sir Van Morrison and Dido the first to be announced for the annual Cotswolds event.
The pair both appear on Friday 10th July, the first day of the 17th year of the three-day festival held on the picturesque Great Tew Estate near Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire.
“We’re very excited to be announcing two huge stars from the beginning. Van is my ‘desert island artist’, and it is also a huge privilege for Cornbury to be one of Dido’s few summer appearances,” said the festival’s promoter Hugh Phillimore.
He added: “This year, we are keeping a few surprises up our sleeve, by announcing our other artists one day at a time over the next few months”.
The festival dubbed “Poshstock”, has featured a host of impressive stars big since it launched in 2004, including legends like Paul Simon, Robert Plant, Amy Winehouse, Bryan Adams, Blondie, The Beach Boys and Bryan Ferry, and modern-day stars such as Jamie Cullum, Olly Murs & Jools Holland.
Day tickets for Friday 10th July and weekend tickets for Friday 10th – Sunday 12th July are on sale from 9am today – Wednesday 22nd January 2020.
- Day Tickets from £85, weekend tickets from £180, weekend with camping from £215. Senior, teen & child concessions available. Under threes go free.
