UK band Kawala and one of our favourites have sadly decided to call it a day, via a post on Instagram.
The band have renamed their forthcoming UK & European 2025 tour, “The Farewell Tour” and it will be the last opportunity for fans to see the band play live.
“The Kawala Collection” album will be released on 31st January – the final ever Kawala release.
“The Kawala Collection” consists of nine tracks portraying the band’s diverse song writing capabilities, from the sun-kissed “American Adrenaline”, upbeat fan-favourite “What’s Up”, to the vibrant offerings of “Time Slipping Away” and the soothing lyricism of “Old Me”, showcasing the band at their best.
Kawala have always been connected to the summer, in sound and spirit. If their gorgeous, harmonies-soaked debut album “Better With You” was their sunrise, then this new era of music is their midday sun; a prism through which this unified beam of light is focused to divide into a far-reaching spectrum of colour, curiosity, and above all, confidence.
2024 saw the band play shows extensively around the UK and Europe, including a sold-out headline show at London’s Outernet.
