“The Sun and The Rain” is released on Sunday Best Recordings, from Kitty Liv who is better known as one third of the successful and acclaimed family band, Kitty, Daisy and Lewis.
“The Sun and The Rain” is co-produced with her brother and analogue guru Lewis Durham.
The follow-up to “Sweet Dreams” – both tracks are released on a double A-side 7″ following an extensive period of touring with Guy Chambers, Beans on Toast and Joe Webb, which included a live session for Cerys Matthews on BBC Radio 2. Kitty also toured with movie star Kiefer Sutherland late last year, as the support act and in his band.
With influences ranging from Erykah Badu and D’Angelo to Al Green and Howlin’ Wolf, Camden Town born and bred, Kitty has performed across London and at festivals including Glastonbury, Victorious and Camp Bestival. Kitty is also the host of the Bombay Nights radio show on Soho Radio, London. Expect big things…
