DMA’s New Video: The Glow…Out Today

DMA’s have dropped a new video for the single “The Glow” today (27th May 2020) – third track and the title cut lifted from their incoming album, due on 10th July.

The video was shot in East London earlier this year by director Errol Rainey (Ivy Park, Alexander McQueen) & Toto Vivian. (Watch the video below…)

“The Glow” was produced and mixed by Grammy award winning producer Stuart Price (Madonna, The Killers, New Order) in the historic Westlake Recording Studios, a long way from the bands early days in Sydney.

DMA’s are Tommy O’Dell, Matt Mason and Johnny Took who formed the band in Australia, and then gained traction with their 2014 debut EP, before their debut album “Hills End” hit Australia’s Top 10.

Their second album “For Now” in 2018, which dented the UK chart at number 13 and had huge radio support, cemented their status as one of Australia’s hottest bands. They scored three ARIA Music Award nominations (Australia’s Grammys) for Best Group, Best Rock Album and Best Independent Release.

In 2018 they became one of the first Australian bands to play the iconic MTV Unplugged session, following in the footsteps of all-time greats such as Nirvana, Oasis and R.E.M. The performance was captured on the ‘MTV Unplugged Live’ album.

They shifted 40,00 tickets for their headline UK tours, and they delivered main stage sets at Isle of Wight, TRNSMT and Citadel  festivals, along with opening for Courteeners and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds at their huge outdoor shows.

On April 29th, the date they were due to begin their UK headline tour, DMA’S streamed their entire London headline show, from the 02 Brixton gig in March of this year. More than 50,000 fans watched the stream.

DMA’S May UK & Irish headline tour was postponed due to COVID-19, but they plan a return to the UK in October for a bunch of shows – including their biggest London show to-date, at Alexandra Palace. Tickets on sale now.
