Ms. Abz Winter is one such case in point…

This 17-year-old singer songwriter from Coventry premieres her new single, “Don’t Go Playing With A Young Girl’s Heart”, with the official video, below.

Classy writer and distinctive soulful vocals. A real on-trend sound on the impressive, chilled r&b ballad which is out now. Follow-up to her song “Incompatible Me”.

She’s had radio support from Dermot O’Leary on BBC Radio 2’s Jo Whiley show, and BBC Introducing. Debut EP, “Safe XX” dropped in late 2018.

Platinum hit-maker producer and songwriter Fred Cox collaborated with the young artist on a brace of songs, a man who has worked with such stars as Paloma Faith, Idris Elba, Rag n Bone Man, Grace Carter and more.

Abz Winter’s talents have also been spotted by Jess Glynne’s management who have helped her hone her songwriting chops.

On the live scene Abz has been given some great opportunities so far, such as performing on the “Unsigned” stage ahead of concerts by Boyzone, Take That, Westlife, Little Mix, Ariana Grande and Christina Aguilera.

Becoming a bit of a festival favourite too at various Midlands events over the last few years, and a  rousing performance before a Wasps rugby game at the Ricoh Stadium in Coventry.

Abz Winter is one to watch in 2020….We betcha!
