Mike Baretz makes his music from his East Village apartment home-studio. The singer-songwriter/producer is a popular performer as a solo act with his piano or guitar and a computer
He has a good following globally via Instagram and other social media. His influences include John Mayer, D’angelo and Charlie Puth.
Mike has studied with double Grammy-winning composer Herschel Garfein, and is mentored by artist developer and pianist Vera Tisheff (Leonard Bernstein, Earl “Fatha” Hines).
When he is not honing his piano technique or arranging a string quartet to be performed at Juilliard, he is selling out shows at Muchmore’s, Cornelia Street Cafe and other hip venues in the NYC/Brooklyn area
He recently dropped the single ““Foolish to Try” (which is worth hearing, by the way) and now “Any Other Way”, which depicts a troubled relationship and a deep longing to see a relationship through.
Mike is one to watch in 2020 – and we will be doing just that……..
