The Zombies, part of the 1960s British Pop Invasion of the US, will release be a remastered version of their iconic album “Odessey & Oracle” early in 2025 – hailed by Paul Weller as his favourite album of all time.

It includes the classic songs “Time Of The Season” [which was used on the trailer of the recent Guy Ritchie TV series “The Gentlemen”] and “This Will Be Our Year.”

The band has entered into an agreement with Q Prime to provide label services and distribution for the band’s 1960s studio recordings and the remastered “Odessey & Oracle”  will be the first of those releases.

The Zombies are of course well known for their timeless massive global hit “She’s Not There”, a song which featured on the Kiera Knightley Channel TV and cinema adverts.

The band who formed in 1961, will host the second of their own music festival, “Begin Here”, in their home town of St Albans in November [8th to 10th], after last year’s inaugural event was such a success.

Earlier this year, the band’s legendary keyboard player and songwriter Rod Argent – who also fronted his own band Argent and who was named by Sir Elton John as a genius keyboard player and incredible writer – suffered a stroke that caused him to retire from live performing.

The remaining Zombies, including original member and co-founder, frontman Colin Blunstone, will be playing a tribute to Rod during the festival weekend.

There will be performances and workshops from various band members and tribute acts,  a ‘Battle of The Bands’ competition, a solo show from Colin Blunstone and live performance from The Zombies original and new members playing together. which was used on the trailer of the recent Guy Ritchie Tv series The Gentlemen.

Colin Blunstone will be performing his seminal solo album “One Year” for the first time in it’s entirety at The Begin Here Festival on November 8th, followed by a short tour that culminates at London’s Union Chapel on November 25th.
