New York’s Dakota Jones drop super slinky r&b cut, “Sugar Pie” and the accompanying video.
Their R’n’B-infused funk won widespread critical acclaim in 2021 with debut album “Black Light”. Since 2021 the Brooklyn-based outfit have been touring across the US and in the studio making new music.
Now they’re back with their first new single in 17 months, the super slow jam,”Sugar Pie” (released 23rd January 2023).
The acclaimed funk four-piece fronted by singer Tristan Carter-Jones, formed eight years ago, with Scott Jet Kramp on bass, Steve Ross on drums and Eddy Marshall on guitar.
