Superstar Sting today [ 5th September 2024], releases his new song, “I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart)” via Cherrytree Music Company/Interscope Records, and the accompanying music video.
In “I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart),” the 17-time Grammy-winning artist and his three-piece rock combo – Dominic Miller on guitar, Chris Maas on drums and Martin Kierszenbaum on organ [who also produces the track]- Sting sings, plays bass and applies his own electric guitar flourishes. This is his first new song since the 2021 album “The Bridge.”
Sting kicks off his extensive North American tour in Detroit on September 17th and 18th and closes the 20-date tour in L.A. on 12th and 13th November. ’24.
