Download Festival 2024 – Final day and it’s a bit of a mud bath across the site after storms and torrential rain on day # one and especially yesterday, day two.

But the fans and the bands and the organisers carry on regardless.

The annual heavy metal and hard rock celebration weekend in June – which draws fans from around the world [circa 75,000] to the Leicestershire site – has a mouth watering 2024 lineup; with the likes of Friday’s main stage headliners Queens Of The Stone Age, Royal Blood, Saturday’s bill toppers Fall Out Boy, The Offspring, today’s headliner Avenged Sevenfold, Limp Bizkit, Funeral For A Friend, Pantera, Machine Head…

And even Busted [yep, really!] in the lineup – plus many, many, many more across several stages. Our ace snapper Jason Sheldon in the pit to capture a bunch of “Hot Shots” for us on all three days.

Waterproofs and wellies the order of the day (s), making the Drownload and Downpour nicknames for the event, pretty accurate! The campers getting the brunt of it.
