Australian Independent artist Shannon Smith’s debut single, “Dance The Night Away” has recently claimed the #1 position on the Australian Independent Records Label Association’s chart – surpassing the likes of Kylie and Sia.
The first single from his debut solo album finds Shannon Smith in a melodic pop-soul frame of mind, sounding something like Van Morrison in an especially good mood.
“Dance The Night Away” is part of a singles project with his partner Helen Townsend, and as such is a toast to the first flush of romance.
