New Yorker, based in Paris, Ryan Egan shares the official video to his current single, “Soft Power” – the title track and third single from his forthcoming debut album, due April 2022.
The song was produced by Ryan Egan and Kevin Basko (Foxygen, The Lemon Twigs).
The track follows up the album’s well received debut singles “Weeknights” (which we featured) and “Alone For the Last Time”.
The music video for “Soft Power” is a film by Rome-based, French filmmaker Hugo Cohen Sprung, offering a glimpse into the “strange and mundane life of Isabella”, living alone in an “otherworldly house” and lost in her own imagination.
We follow her solitary lifestyle and dreams of escape to a life outside her restrictive and colourful walls. The video stars Isabella Jahns.
