Undiscovered: Elle Novella: Promising Young Essex Artist Drops Poison!

 

 

Elle Novella, a young Essex artist fairly new to the music scene, but showing much promise with her own brand of quirky pop, today (15th May 2020) releases her second single, “Poison”.

Follow-up to Autumn 2019 debut single “Shake Me”, Elle aka Chantelle Hedman, has already received some national radio support and supported Kosheen.

Elle Novella is influenced by classic rock, jazz and soul – while nodding to the likes of Lana del Rey. Elle also uses refers to iconic artists as Kate Bush and Fleetwood Mac as part of her musical template.

The sassy and sultry “Poison” is the second cut from her forthcoming debut EP “Visions”, recorded with producer Anthony Trueman and engineer Felix Davis (Lana Del Rey, Youngr).

Elle Novella will perform an “isolation gig”, streamed live on Instagram at 9 PM tonight (Friday 15th May).

Elle tells us her third single will be called “Lady Veneering”, and she aims for a 12th June release, before her debut EP slated for August.

Music Republic Magazine will be keeping tabs on Elle’s progress – intrigued to see how her career progresses. Lots of potential, for sure…

Elle was part way through shooting for the official video to “Poison” when the UK lockdown came into force, so she’s released an abbreviated version for now, which you can watch here:
